I love sparkling wine. Back when I had a cocktail with brunch with friend I picked a Mmosa over Bloody Mary every time. There are some really great sparkling wines out there now, too, (see my Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine Taste Test) to give you the taste and feel of a real champagne cocktail. Here’s an easy and fun nonalcoholic sparkling wine mocktail recipe for your next brunch experience 🙌🏻
INGREDIENTS
Plain seltzer, champagne, or nonalcoholic sparkling wine (I love Noughty Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Chardonney)
1/3 cup blueberries
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp maple syrup or honey
splash of water
METHOD
1. Blend blueberries, lemon juice, maple syrup or honey, and splash of water. Strain into a bowl or small pitcher.
2. Pour desired amount of blueberry lemon mixture into your glass (I’d start with 3 tbsp).
3. Top with a serving of seltzer or nonalcoholic sparkling wine.
4. Garnish with lemon rind or blueberries and enjoy!
